introduction + basics

Hi there, I'm pangs, Morgan, Morg, laborpangs, and so on. I have a lot of names and you can feel free to make up more for me. I use any pronouns, have fun with it. I'm in my 30's and teaching myself how to code again, because the last time I used HTML was back on Neopets and MySpace.

In the real world I'm a graduate student working on my Masters of Fine Art degree. This website will not contain anything about my professional life outside of maybe passing mentions or blog posts. Here you'll find fandom stuff, weird fiction, OCs, obsessive niche hobby things, and just fun stuff. "If you know me in real life, no you don't," as they say. ;)

I'm trans and queer, though more specific labels tend to fluctuate because I really am still discovering myself, as many of us constantly are. I vibe with calling myself a sort of effiminate faggy butch and I feel I'm somewhere on the ace spectrum, probably demisexual. Do not confuse this with low libido or sex negativity--I do like sex and sexual topics lol I just engage with sex on a platonic or fictional level. Notable bands and artists who are often in rotation are AFI and Blaqk Audio (← my ride or dies alas), Type O Negative, Roky Erickson, Rob Zombie (← the other three that are always playing), The Used, Electric Six, HIM, Coheed and Cambria, Blitzkid, HEALTH, Calabrese, Bloody Hammers, Ghost, Powerwolf, Sisters of Mercy, Ashbury Heights, and then lot of pop stuff like Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, Kesha, Britney Spears, Spice Girls, etc etc. I also unironically like Nickelback ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Genres-wise, I like horrorpunk, doom metal/gothic metal, pop/hyperpop, disco, and psychadelic/acid rock.
